This is a really comfortable homely and straightforward cafe. The coffee is lovely and... typically of Iceland..it's not a global brand ! Very warm and welcoming when it's cold outside. No pretentiousness just a super little traditional cafe
Had read about this Café in a Reykjavik guide book and as we were wandering around the old Harbour we saw Café Haiti, the coffee was fantastic, so much so we brought some home! Great atmosphere a true delight
Stopped here a few times last month to shelter from the Big Freeze outside! Lovely, warm friendly environment with delicious coffee too. Cakes were tasty as was the Flatkökur (flat rye bread with traditional smoked lamb). Cheap, simple and filling! The hot chocolate was also AWESOME.
