Stop in to this famous cafe for lunch, soup, sandwiches, beautiful pastries, as well as their famous ice cream and chocolates, and a small selection of Moomin items. Some items a bit pricey but bargains can be found.
We visited for brunch/lunch here and it was fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Great location, helpful staff. If I lived here I'd visit all the time. Wonderful soups.
Breakfast in down town Helsinki? I highly recommend the breakfast buffet at Fazer's opening at 7:30 am. Whatever your taste is, you will find yourself a fab breakfast: a multitude of freshly baked bread and cheese; ham, sausage, boiled egg, porridge, yoghurt - the list goes on ... and Fazer's special blend coffee. The ambiente is oldfashioned Art Deco.
For me, person who recognize Fazer chocolate as favourite, Karl Fazer Café is a must. Building is impressive and café is quite welcoming from outside. Café is not just a café, its also a shop where anybody can buy different kind of sweets. Much more expensive sweets than from market. Anyway, it was possible to eat some savoury snack, but... 更多
The Fazer cafe may be worth to visit and see Fazer's product selection etc. but not neccessary to order... It's quite pricey place (cake+coffee c.10€) with nothing special inside : no cozy interior, nothing really impressive..Capucinno was flat, cake good...I was there once and probably won't visit again...
This is a good brunch place to bring a baby, you can easily fit the pram. And the changing room is unisex, on the same floor. It is not yet season for fruit, and the tea selection is limited, but the coffee and pancakes are really good.
They have the best cheese tart I ever had. I visited this cafe whenever I travelled to Helsinki. Their chilli chocolate cake is delicious too. Another good thing about the cafe is that they have free wifi for guests. Everything is just perfect except a bit pricey.
This café is run by the famous Fazer company, the decor and building itself quite impressive. The coffee and cake were good, but expensive. The pastries however seemed to be the same usual Fazer stuff you get at the supermarket, but at double the price, so points off for that.
The is The Cafe to most local people when in central Helsinki. It is the flagship cafe for the Karl Fazer brand that pretty much dominates the Finnish chocolate scene. Great variety of pastries and cakes as well as salads etc. We visited during Easter time and had the famous Mignon Easter eggs that are made into real egg shells.... 更多
I go to Fazer cafes very often, in different places of Helsinki. They are cozy and nice, and offer a variety of sweets and saveries. Fazer is an absolute must try cafe in Helsinki.
I have enjoyed the coffee, but must say that the recommended chocolate cake was just too sweet! seems like it has so many brands of pastries, so I do recommend going there - but choose wisely :)
Great stop for a rest at Fazer in the Stockholm building! We had earl grey tea and a slice of the butterscotch style cake. The cafe is situated in the top floor of a busy department store, but you wouldn't think so as the place is quiet, calming and relaxing. It's really one of those places where you can stop,... 更多
The interior of the main cafe is old style and nice. However, their cheesecakes taste like they are made of margarine. The price range of the products are not balanced with their quality.
Being in Helsinki for a couple of months, we decided to try a different cafe or restaurant for lunch each week. Since it had been a while since we had been to Fazer for the lunch buffet,I checked the weekly menu online and picked a day when all three soups sounded particularly delicious. Arriving around 12.30, we were easily able... 更多
