Vete-katten is one of the oldest cafés in Stockholm and it is a perfect place for having your fika (a four-letter Swedish word meaning 'to have coffee and a sandwich or a bun while chatting with friends'). They serve the tastiest traditional buns we have tried in Stockholm! If you drop in into Saluhall's Vete-katten, you can have super-delicious pastry... 更多
This place has recently undergone a lot of refurbishment and has a range of areas to sit. There are quaint corners to sit or the bigger restaurant for large groups. Chef Sandelin has won the best chef for Northern Europe and is renowned for his patisseries. A must go to place if you are in Sweden.
This old-style cafe is located close to stockholm central station. Their transitional swedish princess cake was amazing. I really enjoyed the ambience as well; feels like you are transformed to a setting from the past. Definitely recommends this place..
Swedes like to 'fika'. A word which stands for having coffee with something on the side, with a date or a friend. And Vete-Katten is the perfect place for just that. The place exists of two parts - one with a bit more of a homely feel and one that feels like a Parisian tea house. I personally prefer to... 更多
The Vete - Katten is an old styled cafe. It's well known in Stockholm for its great pastries and cakes. Have been here several times, and was always happy with the visit. The only minus of the cafe- it's almost always overcrowded , but that has a reason behind- yummy cakes. Definitely worth visiting.
We stayed at the HTL Kungsgatan next door, and stumbled into Vete-Katten for breakfast. The coffee and pastries were delicious, but more importantly the ambiance was so lovely. Would definitely recommend.
This place is always busy, noisy and very hard to find a seat. that being said the service is just ok for it's reputation and the prices are a little ridiculous
Vete Katten has a lot of delicious desserts.Their swedish cinnamon buns (kanelbullar) is great. Also you may find fresh breads and sandviches. Highly recommended.
We visited this place on Sunday and we tried only cinammon rolls but we weren't so impressed by them. Up to a certain point they were tasty but not excellent. The location of this fancy place is central and maybe i 'll visit it again just to give a second try and choose something else. This sums up the Swedish... 更多
My dad and I went to Vete Katten a number of times on our recent visit to Stockholm. We were able to sit in the garden at the back of the premises, which was lovely on a Spring afternoon and we also sat in the front part of the restaurant. I drank the chai tea and Roobios and you got... 更多
This is totally the fanciest fika place you could get. Good cake, good beverage, good place, good friends. It's a but pricey though, and it can be hard to find a place because it's always crowded
I ordered my birthday cake here. I learned that Swedish most sold is Princess cake. It is delicious and has an appealing colour, green! Staff was very friendly.
We visited this café based on recommendations in some magazine - and we were not disappointed. We arrived around 10.30 AM on a workday, but the place was already so full that we had some difficulties in finding an empty table. Being rather old, the café has a little bit of the same kind of charm which you can find... 更多
I found this on a website that was about places recommended by locals and i was glad we went. It was super busy and very delicious. If you're nearby, check it out! It reminds me of Paris and the decor is super nice.
I thought it would be amazing, they all talked about this place so much. We had to make a long queue to order our coffee, which was average by the way. The cakes were ok, but the place is too tight and there was barely any room to sit.
