Classic small hidden gem in the center of Stockholm. Good Swedish food and perfect service in à historic place.

This wonderful restaurant is the cousin to the more famous and more formal Café Opera. We were spending our last night in Stockholm, did not want something as over the top as Café Opera, and we made the right choice. After more than two weeks in Scandinavia without one bad meal, this night may have been the most enjoyable. The... 更多
Of all the places we ate at in Stockholm, this felt the most Swedish. The food was great, escargot to start and then the meatballs and steak with amazing potatoes. It was very quiet, with what seemed to be mostly local businessman (and I do mean men, there were few women the night we were here) and some families of... 更多
A small, hidden, art nouveau gem in the Opera house. The service and the food are both impeccable. Typical Swedish fare. Best Beef Rydberg in town. Everything on the menu is a perfect classic. Best for parties of two people or maximum three for it is a small scale place. Be sure not to confuse Operabaren with Operans bakficka or... 更多
We found this restaurant by chance, and had a most memorable evening. The dinner was exceptional quality, service discreet, and decor and ambience truly one to remember. We enjoyed traditional Swedish food, of exceptional quality. Fois gras with scallops and fish stew particularly recommended. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a very special night out. Cannot recommend this more... 更多
The Operabaren (Opera Bar) is located behind the Opera House and associated with the OperaKallaren which is a Michelin rated restaurant. This association led me to, mistakenly, expect similar high standards of food at the Opera Bar that matched the impressive decor of the bar which is a nice change from the sleek lines of more modern restaurants. The Opera... 更多
I was with two friends out for dinner at Opera Baren. I really loved the english countrystyle settings, and it was very inviting and cozy. Although it was a good dinner with wellmade food, it just needed the ekstra wow factor to make it great. Still I recommend it for the atmosphere and a good quality of food.
A splendidly old-fashioned café in the Royal Opera House, a room which had not changed, said our waiter, since it was built, in 1904. The room was fairly empty by the time we sat down; just a few very distinguished-looking men, one eating alone, others in twos and threes, speaking alternately Swedish, English, and French — perhaps they were in... 更多
One of the classic places in Stockholm and located in the wonderful Opera complex . A great place for a drink and for meeting up with the sophisticated Stockholmare .
I go here often when I have a bit more time at lunchtime. The service is fast but not superquick. The atmosphere with the art deco style is great. The food is very good - I go here when I want to give myself a treat. The staff is great, correct and still nice.
