Top of Folegandros ! Very good and fancy food, great view to the port, fantastic personnel and relaxed atmosphere! A must go!
We had a wonderful relaxing evening at the Vergera Vrahos Restaurant. The staff is very kind, the food is great and the location is amazing. It is a pity we discovered this restaurant our last evening on Folegandros. Many Thanks to the lady chef and to the service staff for taking so good care of us!
Really good value and all home made, friendly staff and wonderful views to the port. We went three times during our two weeks stay on the island, it is one of the best restaurants in the port area.
On the night we went they were awaiting the appointment of a chef and food! We were presented with a menu with most of the items not available - not even burgers and when we asked for French fries we were given a plate of crisps and charged €3.30. The waiter was helpful. we had dinner with friends in the hotel, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced . the service was first class.
We hoped for something upmarket but the food was dull. My pesto had clearly come out of a jar. Service was very slow but the waiting staff were very nice, I guess it was the kitchen which was slow, although it was not full.
The Vegera (the name means something like "meeting with friends to celebrate") is the reastaurant of the Vrahos Hotel. It is located on a beautiful terrave overlooking the Karavostasis bay. A very good surprise: normally I don't have dinner in hotel's restaurant because of not so good quality/price relation. This restaurant serves very good traditionals recipies in an elegant and stylish way at a very good price! The service is quick and everyone is very kind!! An applause!!!! Fiorenza
Traditional greek delicacies, tasty wine, home made pies and sweets. Kalassouna pie made of local cheese was very delicious, as well as chicken breast served with taboule salad that I've had as main dish. For dessert, we've had "ravani" with creme patisserie and pistacio ice-cream. I highly recommend it.
