Great location on the Oceano Atlântico. Sit outside and watch the waves. The food is typical Portuguese seafood, average and a bit pricey. Always attracts a good crowd nonetheless as the location makes up for both.
I took my wife, wee son and mum here when staying very nearby in the Martinhal. We booked in advance (I think this is essential - and well in advance for a seat by the sea), we arrived as they opened (Wee Alex needed to be in bed soon after our visit) and they apologised for not being able to... 更多
Coming from someone who nowadays follows a Vegan, MacroBiotic style diet I would still rate this place by a long shot the best restaurant in Cascais if not whole of Lisbon/ Portugal & metropolitan areas. My guests where so happy with quality, waiters who bend over backwards to attend to your every need, wine list great AND view Location ??... 更多
Startng with bread and olives, we had seafood paella and fish in oven Portuguese style, followed by ice cream with fruit salad - excellent. As we had dinner, we only could smell and hear the sea, the view during the day certainly would be great....
This restaurant is built on the rocks, has a marvellous view of the sea. The food is good, coffee delicious and the service excellent. We visited on a cold day, sat outside and the waiter kindly provided a blanket, highly recommended
This is one of the classic seafood restaurants in Cascais. If the weather is good you can sit literally 20 meters from the ocean. Has its own parking. Fresh fish that the professional staff lets you choose. They will always try to give you a bigger fish than you need (price is per kilo) so if you are 4 ask... 更多
The most amazing thing about this restaurant is its location "over" the waves of the Atlantic...brilliant. Service is professional, although I feel it could be better. This time I did not go for fresh grilled fish...my mistake!!! I chose the "Gambas à Chefe" instead....not a good choice: overcooked and over "sauced" but a bit flavourless....didn't really fancy it. We stayed... 更多
So traditional with fascinating customers; mix of young and old, local and visitors, ordinary and wealthy. Perfect fish and seafood. Amazing views. Old fashioned professional service of a type that you never seem to find in the U.K. Simply the best in class of many similarly good fish restaurants along this Guincho coast.
The arrogance of the staff in this expensive restaurant is astonishing! After spending 185 Euros for one person dinner, the following day I was not allowed to get in just for glass of wine without ordering something o eat but was practically THROWN OUT!!!! Never ever can not recommend to anybody
