Tried takeaway momos and vindaloo for a simple dinner. The service was quick, food hearty and down to earth!
Momos are worth trying but surprised to see that they were served with a sweet sauce! However, they replaced it with a spicy one. Funniest thing was Peshwari naan sweetness, they added sugar. This is definitely not a traditional Indian - Nepalese place. Food is bland and the curries are not authentic. Toned down on spices and flavour. Rather forgettable and unexciting experience with the food. Service was good. Priced a little less than the other Nepalese-Indian restaurants around. Outdoor seating available.
- food is great, but not traditional nepalese and indian - toilet is average, is on the 2nd floor, so for handicapped guest it is not possible - staff is very nice and friendly, but sometimes service is slow
The restaurant is located near the train station. The interior is a bit dark and traditional with huge paintings of the Himalaya. The food is nicely presented with different sets of tests accompanying every dish. I appreciated the light preparations compared to indian food I had in many other restaurants.
