Are you missing Italy? If you are hanging out around Metro Louise il Vecchio Mulino is the place to be in order to taste an Italian pizza. It is cheap (for Brussels standards) and good. Plus, it is Italian service.
Friends picked this restaurant as it's Italian and they've been many times. We anticipated a good meal ... were rewarded perfectly. We opened with Prosecco, then plates of buscetta and other early dishes, including meats, scampi etc. We finished up with a fresh white fish dish that was delicious. Presentations and service, included several visits from the owner/chef to see... 更多
I have been twice in this restaurant, to test both the 'regular' dishes and the Pizza. The dishes are very good (i had spaghetti napoletana and then sole muniere as the main corse with a mixed salad) and in large quantity - as in the old Italian trattorie. Pizza is good as well - even if the one I ordered... 更多
My wife and I shared a pizza and a veal dish. Both were very good. She had wine and i had a beer. Our dinner came to under 35 Euro, definitely great value for the quality of food and the atmosphere. I would go back for sure. I was quite busy and after we had finished eating we didn't see... 更多
In this restaurant, you meet the italian spirit. This restaurant shows that Italian food is not only pizza and pasta. You can enjoy excellent ways of cooking meat and fish.
A colleague of my wife suggested to go to this small and cozy restaurant just next to the avenue Louise. We were warmly greeted by Rocco, the owner, and we got immediately a small free of charge dish by the waiter with some tomato bruschettas and zucchini omelette. We ordered 5 pizzas which were really tasteful like the ones you... 更多
I miss the extra taste which makes mediterranean food special. This looks more like a burgundian flemish style restaurant : Big portions. Food is average, nothing special. Miss the real italian flavours. Vegetables bit dry without dressing. Only dessert was extremely good (moelleux au chocolat or dame blanche recommended !!)
On rue Jourdan, in the Louiza quarter. They serve Italian food, a mix of pizza's, pasta and meat with a slightly homemade taste. The result is an average one ... we had lasagna and ravioli, both ok, but the beers were better. Service is a bit chaotic and their English is poor. French & Italian are ok. Not cheap.
In a nice street full of restaurants, out desired choice was closed. We attempted to eat here, the woman at the menu said they had no space even though we indicated we would wait, one table was free and two women were paying their bill. There was a further mix up where they brought the next tables order to us... 更多
The servers were confused, they didn't write down the orders, then missed 1 and when it was re-ordered, got the wrong dish. I ordered a veal dish and it was overdone. My friend ordered a simple veg. Pizza which was just bad as the toppings kept falling off. The owner/manager was kind of apologetic but I have a feeling he... 更多
