When in Haarlem check this restaurant: especially the amumi menu, based on the fifth taste. Enjoy even more with the wine arrangement. Great staff very knowingly completes a wonderful evening!
We tried Specktakel based on others' reviews and enjoyed every single dish that we ordered. We were walk-ins and were able to get a table at around 7pm but it was fillig up fast with reservations. My husband and I chose the 3 course meals and each made different choices and all of them were a treat to the palate... 更多
Great service, high quality food, good menu, affordable offer, delicious meals. And of course good wine! Enjoyed our family dinner so much
I rarely give out a 5 star review, but this restaurant was excellent. We had ostrich and swordfish. Both were prepared very well. All of the food was tasty. Portions were sizable and reasonably priced compared to restaurants of lesser quality in Amsterdam. If you're an adventurous eater, I highly recommend Specktakel.
We had the surprise menu (4 courses) with the matching wines, very nice! I am absolutely in love with their desserts. Often surprising ingredients inspired by differtent cultures and countries.
Excellent service, fantastic food and wine. Highly recommended.Try the Umami tastingmenu. Yum!
My husband and I had a wondeful 3 course dinner at Specktakel this past week. It was our 5th wedding anniversary and we decided to try this restaurant after it being recommended by a colleague. We visited after a tiring day cycling and were rejuvenated by the Umami menu. This is a restaurant of very serious quality and possibly the best food we have had after a fortnight cycling through the Netherlands Go try it! The staff were helpful and friendly. The wine list also excellent.
This restaurant has and always will be one of my favourites. You can almost taste the passion for real food and the accompanying wines are just as good. Take your time when you go here and go for a table in the covered garden. When you are settled in with some homemade hummus and dukkah (mixture of nuts and herbs)... 更多
We had a umami surprise menu ( the both of us) and were happy with the food but very unhappy about the amount of wine per glass. This really was way too less for the price (50,-). We spend 200 euro's and thats just too much, we think 125 was enough.
