Visited their elandsgracht branch for lunch on a cold day. Tempting sandwich menu, spoilt for choice. Enjoyed toasted sandwiches and shared a soup. Fairly friendly service. Expensive but everywhere in the centre is. Not touristy, local place.
We were visiting the van loon museum and museum of handbags and purses when we came across this cafe. Loved it! Clean airy feel. Good spread of food - make room for dessert too! And the presentation of the food - came in a long wooden platter - lovely. And the friendly staff. To save the staff time, all transactions... 更多
Our small group just found this amazing place. Its much more than a restaurant. The inner design and the atmosphere of the the Vlaamschbroodhuys is relly nice. The sandwiches and the cakes are teasty. I really recommend this place.
Constantijn Huygensstraat isn't that blessed with good restaurants and we were really hungry, but didn't want pizza, pasta or burgers. This place looked interesting - like a big bakery with dining facilities. It has one of those "Please wait to be seated" signs, so we did. I'd been in Amsterdam nearly two weeks and wanted to try a bit of... 更多
Delicious sandwiches, yummy desserts, especially the lemon meringue pie. This is how meringue should be - fluffy, creamy, and oh so tasty. Great staff, too. Away from the tourists, but lots and lots of bikes, of course. Ate there numerous times and was always happy with the meal.
I love the bakery itself ..it's cute looking and has a nice ambience. I always buy my bread here and I really love it. It is a bit pricey though. The bread such as rye sell out really quickly so u have to book the bread in advance. Because I love the breads so much I decided to dine here... 更多
So, this place was recommended to us at it was close to our hotel. Nice airy place with easy going ambience. We both had the small breakfasts with tea. We're English, so needed milk for tea, this took forever. Same again when we asked for coffee and cake afterwards. We enjoyed the food but were let down by the very... 更多
We have been to a few places for breakfast in this neighborhood but this was by far the best! We paid 7 euros each for coffee, diverse choices of bread, cheese, jam etc. while a bagel and a coffee at Village Bagel was around the same price. The no cash rule is true though but it wasn't the first time... 更多
I was in the neighborhood and my colleague told me that this café has very good bread. I had a late lunch soup with bread on the top, which very standard.
