Excellent service with helpful waiter-average food from a USA traveler point of view- popular spot on a cold rainy Wednesday evening
I went there for a coffee during day and the atmosphere & service was cold. Inside it was dark and old-fashioned. But coffee was good! I will not return.
It was a cold and rainy night on Easter Monday. Recently arrived and hungry, Spago was one of the only open places on the high street. The waiter was really top! We enjoyed the starter platter and then burgers, they were great, the meat though was probably frozen before and had no structure. The fair prized Pintia (RP 95) was a perfect match. The music was getting a bit to loud after 21.00 o'clock.
I have been here quite a few times for dinner/lunch/drinks and a party. The first time was really good and the food was good too. Most other visits I've thought the service wasn't great. The food was ok. One thing I will give them last time although the service was slow last time they did do a good Hugo!!
Stumbled into Spago after wandering around in the dizzying heat and had a wonderful lunch, plus sightseeing tips from our waiter. The food is pub-like but good quality and their Mövenpick ice cream is a delight.
