I know very little French and it became very obvious when I was first seated and messed up my greeting with the waiter. I accidentally used Spanish and then English before correcting myself and asking if he spoke English. He did but then it appeared as if he and the other waiter were making comments about myself and the other... 更多
We went to Les Armures on the recommendation of our Geneva based friends for a good fondue or raclette meal - and were not disappointed. The city is littered with many fondue restaurants, but the quality of cheese can be very varied. They do a great fondue of course, but the rest of their menu was great as well. Simple... 更多
A good spot to try fondue or raclette. Friendly service with a large number of covered outdoor tables to enjoy the sun. Of course, we ordered the fondu which was good. Wine was a little pricey - even for Geneva standards, but overall we enjoyed our meal and would recommend Les Armures.
After a long business day, a friend and I wanted to go for a walk in Old Town. We crossed the bridge and headed up toward the cathedral, and thought we would have a light snack somewhere along the way. Beautiful night, great walk - and then we came across the hotel and restaurant Les Armures. Something about the look... 更多
