The place closes very late which is definitely one of their competitive advantage. Very nice classic service and good quality food, bearnaise sauce is very good.
Had a wonderful meal here. Ordered the calf's liver which was cooked perfectly. So often this dish is ruined by lesser chefs/restaurants. Quality was great but it was expected considering the prices.
We visited the restaurant with the intention off booking for a group. My third time here over 4 years. Awesome upscale French. Lamb was excellent. My wife had the asparagus ravioli and son had the steak. All were happy. Very good capachino. My go to place in Geneva.
I went there few days ago with my friend, it was the first time for me.They've got a really wonderful terrace, which made our dinner even more enjoyable with great food and wine. Somehow it got kinda cold during the night they even prepared blanket for guests. Thats really sweet I have to say. Food was really good, especially seafood.... 更多
For my birthday, my grandfather took me for lunch at Lipp on a rainy day. Ordered a salad Mesclun as a starter and snails as a main dish. Both were absolutely delicious, especially the snails with the garlic, butter and herb sauce. Thank you again for a delightful meal! We'll definitely be back with Friends next time!
Probably the most known restaurant in Geneva for a business lunch with clients. And absolutely a great wine list and food selection. But unless you go for oysters and Montrachet, the kitchen's fare has become dull, greasy, over-cooked and lacking inspiration. On the opposite to Lipp in Paris, the one in Geneva serves sublime dishes with high quality product. And, the waiters are polite and friendly. There is also a great option for vegetarians, like me. The wine list offers a great Swiss selection, which is enjoyable. But it is rather expensive...

Lipp happens to be in Geneva but the atmosphere is decidedly French as are probably also most of the waiters who commute from nearby France. The service is quick and the food first class...things like "steak tartare" or mussel soup don't come any better. The title is how this restaurant was described to me and I have to agree. The menu is extensive, the food is nice, staff friendly. Good selection of wine. It's busy but large so we didn't feel rushed. Prices were reasonable for Geneva.
