During our stay at Perugia, we decided to have dinner at Il Bacio. You can eat inside the restaurant and on the main street. The pizza was excellent and the pasta (penette) did also look great. Prices are normal and the waittress did speak good English. Will definitely go back at Il Bacio!
I see there are some negative reviews about this restaurant. I can't understand, as for the price you pay, we think it is very good value. We visited in July during the Jazz festival, when they would have been at their busiest, and we didn't wait too long to be served by very attentive, courteous and friendly staff. We sat... 更多
Located on the Main Street, good location. Pizza is ok, nothing special. Grilled vegetables were over cooked and bland, very small portion. Wait staff not very friendly. With all the other restaurants in the area, I would try some other place.
To be honest, given the central position of the restaurant I was not holding my breath for top quality food, but was proved wrong. Whilst the service itself was very slow, though the place was busy, the food was tasty and freshly prepared. We enjoyed watching the students on graduation day, wearing wreaths of laurel - a bonus to the... 更多
We went and got the set menu which was relatively cheap at €7.50 which included a margherita pizza or pasta with potatoes/salad and a drink. However, both the pasta and the pizza were fairly poor and bland. The service was reasonable and the location was nice.
One of worst dining experiences in Perugia! The staff were too busy and it was difficult enough to find one to even get the bill. Had fish risotto the first time, lots of lovely fish, but swimming in oil..not how it should be! The pizza was very very doughy and thick, even for the price it was poor! Then to... 更多
The food was fine but the service was poor, the waiters treated us with utter contempt. We also observed other "tourist" dinners being treated in the same way. There are too many nice restaurants close by to bother with this one.
We wanted to sit out on the main street and we were only too aware that this was unlikely to result in the finest wines and food known to humanity. Having said that, we both had decent pizza, the mezzo of house wine was drinkable and service was friendly. No complaints, here.
