We had very good cod fish and a delicious pan a cotta. It is centrally located, so it makes a good stop for lunch.
we had a great dinner here. I order a kind of pasta with seafood and my girlfriend octopus, which was not great. Eventhough, pasta was delicious, it is good to see they are able to make good pasta without a need of sauce. Highly recomended
Hungry and tired after a morning exploring the beautiful city of Siena, we went looking for lunch - and to get out of a cold rain. After checking the menu, in we went and are so very glad we did! The place is lovely with simple, understated decor and of course pictures of horses (it IS Siena, after all). We... 更多
We were exploring Siena for our second morning in Tuscany. Tired and hungry, we left Piazza del Campo to seek for food. Our quick search resulted in San Desiderio, which location doesn't require us to take too many climbing steps or walk too far away for a decent food. This is very important when traveling with older parents. So, the... 更多
After visiting the Siena Duomo we literally stumbled on this most pleasant restaurant for lunch. The interior decorations pay tribute to the Palio races with lovely horse photos. We had lunch there twice during our visit to Siena. My husband and I both had bruschetta for a starter. For his main my husband had Pici--spaghetti with sausage both times. I... 更多
To be fair, we arrived at 2:35 and they accepted us even though it was after serving hours. The food was good but the service was rather rushed. The COLD sparkling water was very refreshing for me as an American who has been without iced drinks for 10 days.
It was great to find a nice quiet restaurant away from all the crowds of group tours on the Il Campo. Beautiful peaceful interior and prompt and polite service. We ordered risotto with seafood and pasta with fresh porcini mushrooms. Both dishes were savory and delicious and went well with the half liter of the house red wine. The price... 更多
We happily stumbled on this place - decor was a mix of old stonework and modern paintings of horses. The meal and service were very good (the osso buco was tender and tasty) and the clientele appeared to be a mix of tourists and local families. You can't go wrong with a carafe (or half) of the house wine.
We were walking around the Duomo in the centre of Siena looking for a restaurant. We came near this place and when we red the pricelist we found it interesting and we made a reservation for the evening. When we arrived and walked in we liked very much the shop's decoration, the pictures with the horses on the walls and... 更多
