Awful Pizza Cheap plastic cheese No tomato Very rude staff when we complained. They said they didn't expect the English to know what mozzarella was . Avoid
Looking for somewhere for a quick lunch after seeing the tower and before catching the Pisamover to the airport. Location was good: quiet, as just off the main thoroughfare, and warm enough to sit outside with a view of the tower. We both had pizza: lots of topping but base a bit thick round the edges. Decent enough food, friendly... 更多
Great place to have a meal, situated in a private corner so you are not constantly disturbed by passing beggars. We both had different pizzas and enjoyed them. Service was good and not pushy and the prices were reasonable. You can just see the side of the leaning tower too!
I have been in Italy for 2 weeks and eaten out for every meal. Have consumed plenty of the staple tourist diet of pizzas. This was by far .... The Worst. Tasted and looked like a supermarket frozen offering and was unfortunately low down the list of places to return to!
the restaurants close to the Tower can be a bit much of a muchness and cater to a passing trade as people do the hold up bit, take a selfie and move on so not a huge incentive to be over welcoming. we hit it lucky with La Buca. A very friendly welcome and a willingness to explain the menu... 更多
This is one of a number of eateries near to the tower with a constant stream of vendors trying to entice you in. We picked it as it was near to our hotel and the seating is down a small street off the main pedestrianised area. We had a gnocchi dish each and shared a pizza. Gnocchi didnt taste fresh... 更多
We stumbled on this little gem on our way to the train station right near the leaning tower. Food was good, service was excellent. Tony was our server, and he was very attentive and nice. Tiramisu was amazing. Great view of the tower as well.
Great location set back from the main tourist road with a view of the tower. However the food is distinctly average. Bruschetta was not terribly good, the spaghetti is clearly out of a packet and the pizza was stodgy and nothing like the thin crust fresh pizzas I've had elsewhere in Italy. Not very memorable alas.
Once lured in due to the secluded setting set back from the tourist route we placed our order. We were let down straight away by the canape' having mostly fat and a slight slither of meat from the ham, the salad was disapointing too. On a bright note the mussels with pepper sauce were very nice. Main courses were just... 更多
For being a touristy area the food was actually decently priced and very good. I had the smoked swordfish salad for my starter which came as a bit of a shock that it was raw and slightly smoked (typical Italian) but actually very tasty. I had the spaghetti pomodoro for my main which was your typical spaghetti with tomato sauce... 更多
