We visited this small café for lunch. We had sandwiches that was very good. Nice and friendly staff. Good location.
Venice is a very expensive city, so it's a joy to find a place like Caffe dei Frari. Even though it's right across from one of the great churches in the city, they don't overcharge for simple, delicious food. We tried a couple of pizzas and sandwiches, and everything was delicious and fresh. Don't miss the shrimp sandwich! The cappuccino... 更多
Very close to the Frari church, this cafe if a great option for a coffee, drink or a small bite, it's well-worn elegance, friendly staff and irresistible logo make it unique stop.
Called in early afternoon for a late lunch and got the last table downstairs. Upstairs has a galleried sitting area, with stylish images of cats around, although you would barely have room to swing one here! Ordered pizza and beer, and the pizza was put together behind the tiny bar then popped into the open oven. I know we were... 更多
We only went in for coffee, but the service was great, the coffee wonderful, and only 2 euros, unlike the 3 or 4 we were paying in other cafes. It is like a parisian cafe and has an intriguing large hole in the ceiling which you can look down when you go upstairs to the loo!..Lovely place, great area, right... 更多
I'm a street photographer and was attracted to this place by seeing fresh vegetables and cheese being placed into a pan. What started out as a good picture turned into my need to eat there and I was not disappointed! An array of vegetables are used and you can tell the chef has put a lot of thought into the... 更多
It's important to remember that when in Venice there will be certainties...namely...you will encounter lots of other people trying to see the same sites...you will get poked in the eye by an umbrella wielding oriental...and you will get fleeced when trying to eat and drink. Once you've accepted these as facts the world will seem a better place and you'll... 更多
This is an unusual cafe in that it looks more like an old style Parisian Cafe rather than Venetian. The upstairs is the place to eat with it's view of the Franciscan church opposite seen from most cubicles. The food is good and not too expensive with a light lunch for 4 costing 49 euros. They must be fond of... 更多
Nice little stop for a snack before seeing the Friari church. Had two little sandwiches with ham and hard boiled egg (which we came to love during the trip!), a beer and water. Nice selection and reasonably priced as well.
