Well worth a visit if you're in the area. The veal with lemon was fantastic, as was the rum baba. Hubby said his steak was first class too. Very reasonably priced food and wine. Lovely staff. Be sure to look out for the Terrapins in the rock pool at the bottom of the steps.

Spread across the banks of lake Orta multiple signs can be found that direct (potential) guests to Bocciolo. We recommend to drive past these signs as fast as you can. We had a very nice meal there. Nice selection of pastas, pizzas and meat. I wasn't sure about the fish...but that might have been just me as my sister did enjoyed hers (I think it was perch)

We tought this was a restaurant with a fantastic view and a proper diner. Actually, the food is fantastic. The rissotto fungi is from another planet. It's tastefull, smooth and more than enough for two. Also the second time, with a different course the food was excellent (including desserts)
