Not until later (after a bottle of house wine and minimal food at Da Giovanni) did I realize they overcharged me. Food was good, but disappointed in them (and myself) for being taken advantage of.
We stopped here at the recommendation of a friend. At first we had high hopes as it was full of locals. Maybe we chose wrong, but food was underwhelming. I spent a week in Roma next to Da giovanni, and after the first night, I went there every night! Nice atmosphere, fantastic rustic italian recipes, very nice people. Definitely a place to go. I'll rush there again when back to Rome.
Small, local restaurant with a short menu of very tasty home cooked dishes. Friendly and helpful waiters. Very cheap house wine, half a bottle for around 3€! It was in a perfect location for us, located one door down from the flat we were renting.

After reading so many good reviews about this place, we looked for it quite a bit, in that neighbourhood. When we finally found it, it was closed, because it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
