We found this place by accident. I went for a daily menu (a pasta) and my friend for gnocchi with pesto and cheese. The daily pasta was ok, gnocchi were very delicious. However the highlight of the meal was TIRAMISU. It's been the most delicious tiramisu I've ever eaten!!! Looking forward to visting Rome again and having this tiramisu one... 更多
My friend had seen this restaurant recommended in 'Wallpaper'. So we decided to go there for lunch. Since tables were full outside, we sat near the entrance to get some air and light. My friend had her back to the street and I sat across her on the narrow table. The menu of the day priced @12€ was limited to... 更多
Everything about this restaurant was unique - from the decor to the food. Sadly, we were a bit disappointed in our dinner choices. The calamari tapas was raw, and the cheesecake tasted like it came from a Jell-o box. The warm bread was good, but we were a bit put out that we had to pay for it.
Went here with 4 other friends. The place was packed with locals so we thought it would be great and was decent. The appetizers are quite small, but tasty. Mains were average and desserts good. Their house wine by the carafe isn't bad. If your staying near by, give it ago, if not, there are other better places.
We had dinner there. Lovely antipasti - good pasta but slightly overcooked. The main was very tasty. Service friendly and efficient. Great dinner. We came back for the breakfast...unfortuanly they were under staff and they couldn't cope with the activity. Shame.
The food had excellent and interesting flavours. This is not your typical Italian restaurant. The portion sizes are small to reasonably sized, much smaller than your average Italian serving at a restaurant. The size was a nice change of pace after having such large meals for several days, but may not be enough for big eaters.
This was recommended by our hotel. The style and decor made for an interesting visit. Unfortunately, the meal was a bit of a let-down; meager portions and rather pricey. Yes it is Rome and I might have been forgiving but for the surly attitude of the staff. Would not return or recommend.
Had a great meal at Urbana which had been recommended by our guide to the Vatican . Eclectic menu with very different dishes. Superb Tiramasu. Be sure that you have a reservation otherwise you will be disappointed
Went here on recommendation from our guide to the Vatican who is a local. Tried to just walk in the night before on a Saturday without a reservation. That didn't happen so we went back the next night. Definitely make a reservation if you want to eat here it is popular. Menu had some great interesting appetizers, pastas mains and... 更多
Unfortunately, our dinner tonight at Urbana 47 was not quite what we had expected, given the positive write-ups and suggestions we saw online. The service was only average, we were charged for tap water, and the meals we ordered did not match the menu descriptions (random vegetables replacing those described etc). Perhaps this was due to the Easter period, but... 更多
We chose this restaurant based on the guide book description of 'classics with a twist'. However the twist doesn't always work. We ordered bread, and got a whole focaccia loaf, which was very nice but we couldn't eat it all.It also inexplicably came with a small bowl of garlic mashed potato. The porchetta was pretty good, served with roast potatoes... 更多
if you want to try this restaurant make sure you book in advance. A very rustic place, with old tables n chairs(some grubby looking but seem to be clean) the local Italians clearly love this place and book in advance so it makes it difficult to just walk in, we waited for 20/25 mins and finally sat at a nice... 更多
We went to Urbana 47 to enjoy a cappucino while sitting in the sun. The restaurant is located in a pretty street Monti and if you're up for some hipster watching and for enjoying Monti's spirit, Urbana 47 is definitely a good choice. We didn't try any food though, only had a look at the menue. Prices are rather high.
Stopped here for a drink after the Colosseum. Would not recommend or go back. While the wine and food were fine, they were extremely expensive compared to other spots with comparable food and wine. Biggest problem with the food was the extremely small portion size (think paying 5 Euro for 1 slider that is the size of a 2 Euro... 更多
nice decoration , nice atmosphere , nice food presentation .. but tasteless food and over priced i ordered a seafood pasta , it looked great with no remarkable taste , apple cream desert were a bit too sour
