Quite nice in the evening after 9 pm , ice creams were ok . Can get a bit noisy but that's expected .
After a very long, hot day of walking from museums to churches to Roman ruins, we wended our way to il Gelato di Claudio Torce near Circus Maximus. Quite a wide variety of gelatos, sorbets and glaces. They even offer soy-based gelatos. One of our group ordered the sunflower seed/chocolate and found it delicious. While there, we witnessed locals coming... 更多
I was here on my last day in Italy, looking for a good rated gelato, and was not impressed. The attendant wasn't too friendly (she was serious the whole time), and the gelato was good, but nothing out of this world. This place is like an ice cream heaven. They have different varieties of ice cream so you have a lot of choices. We tried orio flavour, vanilla flavour and smurf coloured ice creams and they tasted amazingly good. We should say that these were the best ice creams we had so far. No other ice cream parlor in the area beats this one. In fact I am sure it is one of the best in Rome, with abundant choice. Over 13 different kinds of chocolate, cream. Fruit really taste like fruit. Also some very original choices, like to go to Gonzaga or red pepper. The celery flavor is very good. Excellent!
Last night in Italy had to try one more gelato. Have had some great gelato treats this trip. Di Claudio didn't disappoint. I had the chocolate with Himalayan salt. Catchy title and it was really good. If you are near the area give it a try.
