We sat in the courtyard which looks onto the street. The waiter was helpful and suggested we eat next door in the same resturants cooler room. Eventually we went back to the courtyard where our original table had been saved. After walking the Camino we tasted many Pilgrim's Galician soups and this was by far the best! The cheese platter was okay. A little communication problems with our waiter since we do not speak Spanish, but another waiter helped out. Really enjoyed our meal
Delicious food and great service! Only 8-10 table and a bit crowdy, but that just gives it the charm and authenticity that puts it over the edge. We were tired and we just decided to go there without doing a lot of research. The service was actually very friendly but there was only one waiter for around 8/10 tables, ergo it took a bit to place the order. This was our best meal in Santiago. The waitress was so nice and gave the perfect recommendations, giving us an unforgettable meal. The mussels in sea urchin sauce is not something I would normally order but YUM! Everything was so fresh and homemade. Love love love this place.
Ducked in here on a wet day - good local bar & restaurant (at the rear) with friendly attentive service - we shared a platter of Octopus and which was very tasty and succulent and drank wine by the glass (good and not expensive). Seemed to be popular with locals and visitors alike.
Five of us came here for dinner on the recommendation of a local. We were totally delighted with all the dishes, including mussels with sea urchin sauce, about which we originally had doubts. The seafood rice was excellent, as was the fried squid. The dessert Tiramisu with Chestnuts was a good innovation by the chef.
