We stumbled across this gem while roaming the streets of the old town. Excellent starter (marinated salmon) and main course (rumpsteak), accompanied by a most enjoyable Grauburgunder and Spätburgunder. Friendly service on top of it all.
Going to Lübeck you should visit Restaurant Miera a little away from the pedestrian streets in Altstadt. We had a light lunch there - and it was extremely nice. When you are tired of German food I can highly recommend this restaurant. Try to book a table downstairs can be a bit noisy upstairs. Cozy interior The food is well cooked and nicely kept
We had dinner here for six and they were great at accommodating an extra person who turned up. The food was really good, wines were excellent as was the service. I thoroughly recommend eating outside in the garden, depending on the weather.
Limited but clever German wines offer. Elegant place. Kind and rather helpful staff. Quite reasonnable prices considering the quality standards reached. A nice place.

Found this nice place during a visit to Lubeck, food was great and staff really nice, only wish they had an English menu to read, still the staff did they best to help and we choose the set menu, glad we did.
