We call it "the pork chop place" and that's what it is. Not much more on the menu than porkchops or scnitzels, with or without onions (with) and potato salad or fries (both?) Probably the best pork chop ever. Get there right at 430pm when they open for a sure seat, other times are quite hit or miss. The garden... 更多
A little bit intimidating when we arrived as it was packed with locals but we waited and got a table after about 15 mins. Locals and staff that we spoke to were really friendly, we got a quick tour of the pork kitchen, beer was good and the portions were large and tasty. Brotwurst was good but pork chop was... 更多
We went to Lommerzheim on our first night in Cologne and when we arrived it was so busy but expected on a Friday. We weren't very sure on how it worked but after going to the bar and a group of Germans explained it is a first come first served for tables. The bar man asked for my name and... 更多
Wow. What a meal. 2 people 11 beers One pork chop One sausage A whole lot of potato Sen-freaking-sational and for less than 40 Euro. A pub feed worthy of 5 stars and a return visit. Go, enjoy the staff, food, beer and little tourism.
We went here after reading the great reviews here. The place looked nice and cozy. Our service started off badly when I asked the waiter about the toilet (by which I wanted him to direct me to the toilet, as we were sitting outside and I couldn't see one in my vicinity) and he gave a rather mocking answer. I... 更多
After reading reviews on TA, we headed here for dinner on a Thursday night, fairly late. Hoping we would be able to get a table. We could hear and smell Lommy before we got there! It was packed full of friendly locals. We managed to get a standing table downstairs straight away, and got moved to a seated table before... 更多
Lommy, as the locals call it, is a Cologne institution. It's more spit and sawdust than sophistication but the beer is to die for and the Pork Cutlet was the best and biggest I have ever had in my life! For a real Cologne experience you should go.
Wonderfully simple and authentic. Food and endless beer was as promised - good! Clientele can be a little tough if you bring a lady in. My daughter was at the verge of slightly uncomfortable from the looks and remarks of the saturated locals. Best to come with the boys.
If you want to blend in like the locals and eat like a german in Cologne, this is the place. U share tables with other Germans who are all very friendly. They even happen to translate the menu for us as we don't know any german! The place is busy. Beers are served in a small 0.2 litre glasses and... 更多
We loved this cosy, table sharing, beer flowing, huge portion place. Very German, jolly clientele, great value for money. And the beauty is once you have your table you need not leave to get more drinks as the man comes round at alarmingly frequent intervals and replaces your empty glass with a full one. (He marks your beermat so he... 更多
We got a cab from the other side of Cologne to come here and it was definitely worth it, I had the fish and my partner had the pork knuckle, both amazing. The beer keeps coming and you sit on tables with other couples. Very friendly vibe and relaxed. A great experience.
Very authentic German. Good beer and great food. There was not a huge choice on the menu, mainly sausage and meat loins which were very basic, but very high quality and tasty. Would certainly come again.
