It's a traditional Irish Pub, and one of the only places close to my hotel open to drink a good beer on a Monday evening.
We were staying just along the road in the Cosmo Hotel and visited Irish Times in the evening for a few drinks. The staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable, good choice of drinks and there is a TV with Sky Sports in the main bar area. We didn't eat but the food looked decent. There is live... 更多
As I mentioned in my previous review, simple, clean, friendly place to watch a football match and have a pint. My opinion is unchanged, simply confirmed! I'll be back.
I ordered the Irish breakfast. bacon was fatty, sausages were not made from pork, it was shocking. One person working on the bar despite two people behind it. It was one of the worst places for service I have been to. It was just terrible, don't go. The heating wasn't on either so it was freezing.
We had lunch here one afternoon. The food was freshly made, very reasonable and the service was prompt. We called back later in the evening for a few drinks. The owner gave us some tips for the locality
Only five minutes from my hotel so decided to pay the place a visit and we were pleasantly surprised.. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and good choice of drinks including draught Strongbow. We decided to try the Irish Stew which was good value at €7. If your getting desperate for a place with a more pubby feel well worth a visit.
Great place for food & a few drinks. Food is really fantastic home cooked fare at reasonable prices. Large portions and they will adjust food options to cater for fussy eaters / children. Highly recommend the Shepherds Pie & Irish Stew. Wow both filling and wholesome. Visited twice just wish we discovered it earlier as would have visited every night!... 更多
I visited this restaurant couple of times. They serve very good home made burgers, which I can recommend, at least in this area. Also you can enjoy here drinking various Irish beer. Guinness, Kilkenny and others you can find in this restaurant.
