Nice little place to while away an hour as we are a bit early for our flight. Please keep Tegel airport open as it is very handy for travelling into the centre of Berlin.
Quite a strange little airport with the majority of shops and bars landside instead of, as we have in say Heathrow or Gatwick, airside. The departure gate did not open until a short time before boarding and there were very limited facilities airside anyway. We flew with BA who used gate A6 at the time. There is a small bar/cafe... 更多

ate here and there are plenty of tables and a nice selection of snack type food. The staff do allow you to tarry awhile at your seat as well. This is a small airport and not a lot to do otherwise
This is a wonderful bakery and chocolatier in Berlin. If you are lucky enough to be there at the airport when they are open, don't hesitate to eat ANY of the deserts. They are all to die for, and the chocolate is absolutely delicious, especially as presents to bring home.
We had time to spend at the airport, so we decided to taste the German wheat beer. The beer tasted good, so we will for sure taste it again later. The staff was friendly.
