The food was ok, but what I really enjoyed was the authenticity of the neighborhood. Far away from the tourist placed, this gem of a neighborhood is worth visiting. The food is average cafe food.
Went to Zitrone with some friends for brunch. We ended up waiting for an hour on our food. While waiting we could enjoy ourselves watching the staff argue constantly. When we finally got our food, it was at best bland. Memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.

Popped in for a quick lunch on our way into central Mitte. Nice selection of well priced beer and had a delicious parma ham, mozzarella and pesto sandwich.
