An atmospheric restaurant in a quiet suburb of Berlin. Wonderful Alsatian food with a good selection of beers and wines. Friendly staff. Menus in English if required.
A thoughtful menu with well presented food that is delicious and in ample serving size. Service was great even though we saw only 2 waiters attending to a full restaurant. We enjoyed the asparagus seasonal menu tremendously and the creme brulee was great!
Let me begin at the beginning. This is a cool place, that gets really busy on Saturdays. I went on a Saturday. The food was homely, but quite sophisticated. Sometimes it's better not to complicate things! At this place they take great raw material, handle it carefully to really make the most of even the most subtle of flavours, and present it without too much fuzz in an atmosphere that feels smart, but not pretentious.
