The restaurant was recommended to us during our trip to Munich, but unfortunately it has proven to be just mediocre. Not a bad place, but also nothing to write home about. Would not repeat.
Tenno is one of the few places in Munich where you can find both Otoro and Chutoro, when available. Likewise, if there is no fresh Toro to be found, they will not serve you old fish. Going here is always a treat. Come at lunch time for cheaper prices! And, don't skip on desserts, they are really nice. PS: the staff is very friendly and there is a good range of food, from donburi (fish bowls) to sushi and meat dishes.
I have been to Tenno a couple of years back and had a great experience. With that expectation, I dragged my friends there for some authentic Sushi for dinner last month and it was quite a disappointment. The portions got smaller, the price did not seem to fit and the taste wasn't as impressive.

My wife & I dropped in at random after a long day's sightseeing in Munich & it was a welcome relief to be greeted with grace & a smile after the gruff service in the usual German restaurants. The selection of food & drink is wide and the fish curry and duck that we ordered were served in good time.... 更多
