After seeing the amazing dry stone hut and different sizes of how it was made we tried this restaurant and we loved their cheeses they offered to us and also the wines we ordered from the famous region of Rhone.
We recently dined at Les Bories to celebrate my birthday and we were thrilled. The food was amazing, particularly the cheese plate which had the most incredible selection of hand made cheese in the region. The restaurant also had a superb wine selection and a fantastic atmosphere. I would definitely dine here again.
An excellent restaurant with a fine wine list that is particularly good on local Rhone wines. Well constructed starters of cuttlefish/asparagus and tuna were followed by quite superb langoustine/rouget and St Pierre. The highlight, though, were the desserts, particularly the white chocolate and rhubarb millefeuille. Staff are friendly and attentive.
we were 10 people (5 couples) and we ordered the Chef's tasting menu. The welcome and the round table we got were very nice. The service was great, we had 3-4 waiters around us all the time and the service manager was around all the time to. The Chef also came out during the meal to see if we are... 更多
I visited the restaurant with my partner who is a coeliac. The incredibly friendly staff designed a menu to accommodate him- they made the most beautiful fruit salad I've ever seen and it made us feel so welcome and special. The presentation, food and service were all exceptional. I've visited a few one Michelin star restaurants but none have bowled... 更多
This is the first time we have visited Les Bories which is tucked away on the northern hillsides just above Gordes. Slightly old fashioned in approach, the welcome was genuine and personal. Taken straight to our table as the main lounge was full, we were installed without fuss at a table close, but not too close, to the kitchen. Surprisingly... 更多
this fabulous resort looks like Napa Valley in France: what a gorgeous pool: we were lucky to just walk in for lunch on the patio and it was worth every penny, excellent fish and wines
Even though the gastronomic restaurant here has a Michelin star, and even though the Bistro (only venue where lunch is served) is very expensive, a fine dining experience is NOT guaranteed. Lovely shaded outdoor seating overlooking Luberon hills. Somewhat indifferent service, at times nonexistent. Major criterion for restaurant review is food. Again, the menu is very pricey. Given that, an... 更多
Arrived at this beautiful restaurant to find that they didn't have reservation our concierge had made. Turned out that they had the res for two days later instead. At any rate, after a few minutes of fretting they found a great table for our birthday celebration party of four. Food was great, service outstanding, and the ambience is wonderful.
Last minute reservation, friendly and experienced staff, excellent food with perfect presentation. Its a very high standard location, we only dinned there, but I an imagine to stay there for some days.
