Service was prompt and friendly, menu OK. We had Caesar salad and moules frites - odd chips though, not frites. Creme brûlée disappointed but millefeuille was great. Wine however was excellent and well priced.
We visited Café des Chineurs for dinner twice, each time for a meal without extra courses or alcohol, because of the heat and medical reasons respectively. The food was good and we had few complaints the first night, but on our second visit the staff openly mocked us over spending "only" around 45€ on dinner. Reacting to our saying no... 更多
Apparently only friends of "the big boss" are allowed to sit at nice tables here, even when this perfectly ordinary port cafe is completely empty. After being offered three different tables by the door and being told that larger tables are for larger groups only, despite there being no one here, I can only assume that my mother and I... 更多
We were a party of 8 that wanted a light lunch and this is a very good venue. Good service and an excellent menu, especially the plat du jour. Reasonably priced for this area and a good wine list.
We went to des chineurs for New Year's Eve. s a we work delighted that there was not a set menu, so that we could choose exactly what we wanted. I chose to start red peppers grilled. They came with three pieces of toast, and two little pockets one with tapenade, and the other with anacho you purée. It was... 更多
One reviewer has written what has happened to this place? From my recent visit I would say it's the manager or owner who is one of the rudest people I have come across. I asked for a table for myself and was seated by a member of staff after which the manager came up and argued in front of me... 更多
Absolutely fabulous lunch (gamba risotto) sitting outside in the sunshine on New Year's Day. Plus a nice bottle of red and two desserts for just €62.
Waited over 1 hr 15 mins for a very simple lunch. Felt the kitchen had missed our order somehow. No apologies. It seemed like most of the restaurant including newcomers were served before us. Our hungry 2 year old did well. Food then arrived all at different times. I would go elsewhere. Food was nothing special.
As a vegan/vegetarians we do not have a big choice in France especially at south so spagetti - a la italien - was our choice. The place is very crowdy, tables very close one to each other, so all the time you have a waiters buttocks and front 10 cm from your face as he has to make a space... 更多
A very popular restaurant, located brilliantly in Antibes, a few yards from the Port. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite and the restaurant is nicely decorated. We were seated outside, like sardines in a tin, no space not filled with a table. I had a salad which was rather weak and over priced, other meals in the party were... 更多
