In the old town of Le Mans. The service was very friendly and the setting lovely. The good was just ok. Had lamb chops that were quiet tough your honest. Chicken on skewer was just average.
Seems to be popular with locals, several people were greeted as regulars. Lunch was a very good value for a 3 course meal and glass of wine was also reasonable price. Food was not extraordinary but was quite good and overall a pleasant spot near the cathedral.
My husband LOVED his scallops; I had a nice seafood salad. It was very reasonable for the cost and the bathroom was one of the nicest in france.
As a former chef, i can honestly say, worst food ever, burned, not well cooked. waitress who forgets to bring the water someone asked for, it took ages to get our food. I have never eaten in a restaurant which was so poorly. Pleas do not eat here, you'll are SURE to be dissapointed. A sorry excuse for a cook... 更多
I'm a regular visitor to Le Mans for the 24 Hour race and returned this summer to show my teenage son around. We walked around the old town and found Grill et Cie (Grill and Company?) which seemed the best choice of atmosphere, location and value. We had the 19 Euro (I think!) menu which was very good. What's so wonderful about Grill & Cie is that you won't need anything fancy, just have the Tradition, a fair treat of the French kitchen, a plus menu. The really friendly staff helps you have a wonderful evening in their outside (or inside) diningroom. Enjoyed this very much!
