I was welcomed ok, but the food was not good, the veau had too much fat, the soupe too much pepper... the service was not so good.
We needed a snack at noon so we stopped at the Louis Philippe. We took the raviolis de roman, salade de chèvre chaud and the tagliatelle avec cèpes. The food was ok at a correct price. The service was friendly and fast.
My friend and I came here for an early dinner before going on to the ballet. We chose this restaurant in a quieter area near the Seine for a relaxed early- dinner. It's a typically French cafe, with tiny tables, a bit sultry waiters an delicious food. We visited this nice Restaurant twice at out 4-days stay in Paris. Very good and friendly service. English menu and good waiter’s explanations in English. Dishes often not that big but of good quality. Would come again.
Came here mid-week with a friend (her first visit to France). The menu is available in English but we were given the French version (not a problem because I speak French).
