Good service - enjoyed a glass of wine to salvage our evening after a disaster at a local restaurant. Good atmosphere on a summer evening.

We stopped in for an early dinner after walking around the downtown area of Chinon finding a place to eat. We were not disappointed. The tartare was the best we had ever had. You can taste the freshness in the meat. While we were having dinner a band dressed in costumes stopped and played their instruments. It made it for... 更多
We stopped at the Le Cafe Des Arts at the weekend and had an evening meal. We sat outside on the patio in a lovely old town square. Service and food was good. We were not rushed and had a lovely evening. Caesar Salad and Brochette of Lamb were very good as was the Chocolate Molten Cake ! Average price... 更多
I ate here with a group of 15. Service was scattered but some of that was the language barrier and some lack of understanding on the part of some of our group. The food however was mediocre at best. You can do a lot better in Chinon for the same price. Very few customers which should have been a warning... 更多
We ate at Le Cafe des Arts every morning for breakfast and it was good value and nicely presented. The last day they didn't have enough breakfasts for all of us unfortunately so Dad went to a patisserie down the road. One evening we came for dinner. The food was nice but you can get more interesting regional dishes for... 更多
Wanted to eat on the square on a pleasant May evening. Staff concerned about risk of rain, surely this was our decision (it stayed fine until after 2300). Pleasant pre prandial drink but moved elsewhere to eat under the stars. Not the service expected
We had dinner and needed to book on a busy Saturday. The meal was delicious. The starter of duck pate was full of flavour, subtle, accompanied by chutney and crisp local breads. The main course of duck was cooked to perfection, oozing flavour, just enough to leave room for a dessert of mango, coconut ice cream and other delicious spices.... 更多
We had the St Valentine menu which used expensive ingredients reflected in the cost. Starters and mains were very good but the latter could have been warmer. Cheese was not special, service was fine.
We saw lots of people in here having breakfast- we went in and enjoyed the coffee and the local croissants. A pleasant place in the main square in Chinon. Chairs were comfortable - coffee hot and spoke a little English.
Four of us had breakfast here and all had coffee and croissants which was about the best coffee we have had in Chinon. We sat inside as the weather was a bit cold in the morning although there are seats outside. The seats inside were very comfortable. The croissants were very nice too.
