Maitre de cuisine has a michelin star and has created excellent courses typical for St Jean de Luz mainly based on fish. You should reserve the table at least 2 days before. Really good food worth the price.
We booked this for lunch as part of our trip from Bordeaux to Spain. It was a good reason to stop by Saint Jean de Luz which is a beautiful and quaint seaside village with a few very nice beaches. The manager of the restaurant, Stephanie, was extremely helpful. Quite modern interpretations but well executed. I can see how some... 更多
in this little town where you have a lot of places to eat this one is the best! you should really try it! from my point of wiew it's on of the best on the whole coast! the food is amazing6 the atmosphere is wonder ful! Better to book in advance
Wasn't sure what to expect from our visit, having only carried out the briefest of investigations into options before booking. What we got was a truly exceptional meal of the highest quality - this is fine dining, but in a relaxed and beautiful setting. All of the starters, main courses, desserts and various amuse-bouches were delicious, with lots of interesting... 更多
With a new chef from a top hotel in Paris and a Michelin star this restaurant is now outstanding. At lunch the fixed menu (with alternatives) offers the best value meal we have ever had! With a small, attractive, cosy restaurant in an old terrace house with original beams and stone walls looking onto an open kitchen, and friendly efficient... 更多
Fantastic food, wine, service and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed every element of our menu découverte and could not fault a thing. We could see into the immaculate kitchen from our table where chefs were working hard throughout a busy service. Dishes were all beautifully presented and exquisitely flavoured. Not possible to pick a favourite course, absolute perfection from amuse bouche... 更多
My wife and I visited for dinner on the last night of our recent visit to St Jean de Luz based on the excellent TA and Michelin reviews and we were not disappointed. We had the five course tasting menu which was very good value for the high standard throughout. The Langoustines were a stand out course as was the... 更多
We have been to La Kaiku many years ago. Than it was a boisterous happy street restaurant serving simple and good seafood. We retained a fond memory from our visit. So I was glad to find that La Kaiku was awarded a Michelin star and was eager to eat there again. Alas we were disappointed. The restaurant moved inside and... 更多
I had the merlu (hake) for lunch menu, with rice and a frothy paella-like sauce. It was delicious. The entrée with tomato and mozarella was also very good. The dessert with banana and chocolate is also nice, but with a bit too much chocolate for me. My husband had the other options in the menu and he was also completely... 更多
