Went today for a late lunch - not been before but had heard of it and from looking at others in the same area felt it was one of the best. There were about 6 tables in when we arrived, we were shown to a table we did not like, so asked to change which they were fine with. We... 更多
Booked our office Xmas party. A disaster! Took ages to be attended to and then waiters only interested in serving drink, not taking food orders. Eventually food dead slow and all wrong. We were offered a complimentary meal as an apology, booked it and were then told that the person who offered it had no authority so it was withdrawn.... 更多
Really good dinner here with a group of colleagues. The service was polite and attentive - the waiter took the time to explain what the different components of the dishes were, and was very patient indeed with questions. The food was absolutely delicious, easily some of the best Chinese food I have had, and I was assured by a Chinese... 更多
The Yang Sing use to be the premier Chinese restaurant in manchester, unfortunately after my visit today it is a shadow of what it use to be, the place is run down ,carpets dirty and thread bear , paint on the walls chipped and scratched, service slow and unatentitive , Food very average and expensive for what it is .... 更多
This place it's great for my Chinese food cravings.....so authentic and friendly restaurant love the atmosphere but make sure to make reservation because it's always busy!!
Have eaten here a few times in the past, albeit not recently. First impressions were that the place was tacky, the decor and furniture worn and shabby and the staff uniforms faded and grubby. We ordered dim sum which was fine, followed by soup. When the soup arrived my partner and I both almost spat it out as it was... 更多
We visited here on a Friday evening and it was reasonably busy but there was plenty of staff available to take orders, bring drinks, food etc. All members of staff were friendly and approachable. We ordered Kung Po chicken with rice and a trio of seafood (crab oyster and prawns) both of which were delicious. The only problem I had... 更多
Bland and expensive. Not what we were expecting and I don't think we will go back. The fillet steak was really nice but the chicken dish was a plate of processed chicken, lathered in a bland sauce. Have tasted better food in an all you can eat Buffett. £60 bill for 2 was excessive given the quality of what we... 更多
Wanted to treat our kids to a Chinese as it is something we don't often have at home. Meal was okay - normal Chinese, nothing special. Ordered prawn crackers which were obviously for the kids, two portions. They were huge plates which I know you shouldn't probably complain about but seeing as they were for kids thought the staff would... 更多
Went for dinner with 10 of my friends. I am a vegetarian and i loved the tofu and dim sims. The hot and sour soup was just okay.
An excellent meal as ever for ten of us. Great dim sum, the best in Manchester. Steamed sea bass, the old signature dish, still brilliant. Service attentive. However, Yang Sing, like so many other privately run restaurants (NOT the chain restaurants) whether it's Chinese, Thai, Indian or Italian particularly are simply abusing the service charge/ tipping system. We the customers,... 更多
Yang Sing was heaving on a Saturday night so it's a good thing we booked ahead. The chances of things going wrong due to increased activity was therefore higher and it did. We ordered our starters but one failed to come out with the rest (mini pork belly). After my friend whose starter it was complained, they eventually brought out... 更多
Had a great dim sum lunch - lots of more unusual dishes most of which were delish. Only one tofu/hake dim sum was a bit bland. Excellent service and the restaurant itself is lovely.
