Food very good. Noisy crowd night we were there. Huge crowd on a night out. No reply to e-mail sent to alert management as to disatisfaction. At end staff kindly brought us downstairs. The leader of the guests apologised and paid our bill! But eight customers lost to fxb.
Ryan's was recommended by another Pub keeper down the street. We were not disappointed. We had their soup and shared the special, a roast beef sandwich which was outstanding. It was very crowded at lunchtime, but the service was very prompt and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend it.
Ryan's was a recommendation from the bartender at the Ashling Hotel where we were staying. The restaurant is located just a short walk up the street. The waiter brought out the different cuts of meat and expertly explained how they differed. We enjoyed steaks and salmon and everything was very tasty. Not a large place, but you don't feel cramped.... 更多
This is the same place as Ryan's steakhouse. The pub is downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. There are only about 40 seats so reservations may be in order.

I have been passing this restaurant for years and was always curios on what it was like. My curiosity ended last Fri night when I visited with my wife and 2 friends. We all just had mains. We travel to Dublin every May and always stay at the Ashling Hotel. This excellent restaurant is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel and is situated upstairs above Ryans Bar. The bar itself has a great atmosphere (an old Victorian bar) and serves the best Guinness in Dublin. Restaurant is small and pre booking is strongly advised. As... 更多
This restaurant was a couple of minutes walk from our hotel (Ashling). There is a pub downstairs and restaurant upstairs. We went upstairs. It was small, not many tables so I would advise booking. The food was lovely, portions massive, don't need a starter and a main course. The seats along the wall were benches and those opposite chairs -... 更多
This was a fun dinner and right near our hotel The Ashling. It is in a funky old building with a lot of wood paneling and a great atmosphere. The restaurant is quite small upstairs and the bar is small too so if it's busy expect to be a little crowded. Everything was wonderful as far as the food and... 更多
Ryans has a great variety of beers on tap and is a friendly and welcoming place to be in. Its quite an interesting building with lots of little nooks and crannies to seclude yourself in for a quiet beer, with kind and engaging folks on the bar and a clientele who are similarly intelligent and welcoming
This was located very near our hotel so we had dinner there our last night. We ate in the bar as my sister was on crutches and getting up the stairs to the restaurant was a little trying! They had gluten free options which was great. Atmosphere was very charming - an old Victorian bar. Would recommend a stop at... 更多
