My son and his wife gave us a voucher for here which allowed us to enjoy their three course post theatre menu which is on,y available if ordered between 6 and 7 pm on Saturdays. We choose this restaurant as it has a bib gourmand in the Michelin guide. Indeed the food is very good. The menu contains some original dishes but the service is indifferent. Wine list is overpriced with cheapest wine at £25 mediocre. Such a shame, as the opportunity of offering the overall good experience is missed.

We enjoyed a superb meal with 16 family members here to celebrate my mother's 80th Birthday. Nick, the handsome manager was very efficient and his staff looked after our every need. I chose to take a party here as I liked the very straight forward menu. It had none of the usual over stylised food that has become so fasionable at so many restaurants. The best steak i have had in a long long time, had the Rib Eye, potato dauphinoise with red wine ju. The staff are very helpful and eager to serve, overall i look forward too dinning there again.
