Visited here for a light lunch and it was perfect. The food was very nice and it is good value for money. The atmosphere is lovely
Inviting window display drew us in. Inside it's quirky and full of atmosphere. Very busy, but luckily got a seat. The Oreo cheesecake was my choice, delicious. Toffee apple cake chosen by my husband, he says it was lovely. Latte delicious, my husband had a double shot in his which was not much extra which is unusual and very welcome.... 更多
We visited Sherlock's cafe twice in the few days we spent in Whitby, once for afternoon tea and once for breakfast. It has a nice cosy atmosphere and quirky decor. Went in today and ordered two jacket potatoes with piri piri chicken (wet). The jackets were devine and not forgetting the curly fries! Delicious. The service was fast and the staff (Sydney and Elle-Louise) were very friendly. Deffo recommend!!

Can recommend tea with scones and cream, delicious, and served in such a lovely, interesting setting, like stepping back in time with the music from the old gramophone records. Cosy and warm on a cold winter's day. We sat for a long time sharing a very generous pot of proper tea.
The decor is amazing and the staff are very friendly and polite, but they are quite slow in clearing tables. Lots of tables were left with crockery on, when customers were wanting to sit down. The bacon and sausage baps were of a disappointing quality, compared to the excellent cakes.
