Great brunch ,well worth the walk to the end of the pier in the rain !well cooked English breakfast and a superb bacon sarnie ,the only thing missing was a cafetière of coffee rather than an espresso based offering. Gentle live jazz music added to the atmosphere sea and harbour views top it all.
Visited on Thursday 14 th May for lunch. We were the only people in the restaurant, should have given us a clue! Starters just about OK but 6calamari rings for £ 7 is poor value. Main course of jerk chicken was just too hot/spicy to eat .Jessica, the waitress, indicated that many people had complained. The other main was fish of the... 更多
We were booked to look round the caves, so unfortunately were on a time limit at the restaurant and couldn't get dessert. However, we had the cod fish special which was delicious and very high standard of cooking. Amazing food and we will have to go back should we ever end up in Ramsgate again.
Surprised to have been directed here, but what a location overlooking the sea and the harbour. The food was excellent mussels, seafood platter, fish stew - all good. Bread was delicious. The service is pleasant and intelligent. The value outstanding. So for good food, in a first class setting with an amiable ambience - go!
On a wet and windy bank Holiday we saw the restaurant at the end of the pier. What a great find the sea bass was amazing. My boyfriend had the mussels and they were plentiful and tasty. Definitely recommend. Its nice to go somewhere original
If we hadn't done our research beforehand we would never have known about this place. End of pier, looks like a disused industrial building but it's a great brasserie. We had brunch on BH Monday - only one waitress at first and getting busy but she coped well and we had excellent food. My friend had full English breakfast, I... 更多
Food really excellent, even if service is a bit patchy...friendly, but just not efficient. All going well until Pianist struck up! Really not very good (electric keyboard with effects) and too loud. Decent background easy listening is fine, but we have never been instructed to "keep very quiet" because it was a difficult bit of music. He had a little... 更多
We went along to the Brasserie on bank holiday Saturday and were pleased to get a table (other restaurants in Ramsgate and Broadstairs fully booked). The food was delicious - I had a very well cooked (med/rare) fillet steak and my husband had the ox cheek which had real depth of flavour and was very tender. However the plates were... 更多
The place has unrivalled views over the harbour and out to sea but needs a few quid spending on it, plastic chairs outside and cheap lick of paint is a real shame, inside not much better really and like a lot of places in Ramsgate it's dog friendly, now don't get me wrong I love animals but I'm not keen... 更多
The steak was cooked to perfection and served with home grown vegetables, and my wife had the sea bass which she said was beautiful.
My mum has lived in Ramsgate for 18 years, so I've been a regular visitor to the town, and have tried many restaurants in the area. Today we (three generations) had lunch at this great little brasserie. We booked for five people at 2:30pm on a Saturday and found the place to be about half full; perfect! Plenty of parking... 更多
Had been to this restaurant many years ago and on the spur of the moment just decided to walk out and have a late lunch. Restaurant was empty, waiter was very good, friendly but without being overly so. Enjoyed my special which at £10 was very good. seafood frittata, lovely salad and good fries, plus a raspberry meringue with ice... 更多
Difficult one to review, as some parts were average but over all we had a lovely time and I would certainly go back again! We visited at around 3pm on Easter Sunday, with no booking, so understandably there were no tables. We got a drink and sat out the back in the sunshine. Our order was taken, then a table... 更多
Booked for a friends and family meal, super location amazing views combined with a great atmosphere really cannot fault this place. Staff are very helpful, certainly do not rush you so you can just relax and enjoy some great food. In short a perfect location to relax, drink, eat and listen to some super tunes! Cheers.....
Cannot fault the quirkiness and design of this restaurant With a fabulous location and really interesting decor this really could be something special We had our third visit there yesterday and the food is simply not up to scratch.we thought we would tread carefully and ordered two starters scallops with chorizo and prawns in garlic Scallops overcooked and prawns lacking... 更多
