Stopped here for lunch on a visit to Dartmouth, delicious Croque Monsieur and a nice atmosphere, ended up buying some wonderful pear and almond tarts to take away for later, possibly the best pastry I have tasted in my life! Can't wait to go back for more.
It was my birthday, and as a treat, decided to have brunch here. The service was super quick, and we were eating in no time. This place fills up very quickly, so were lucky to get here when we did. We had the most delicious scrambled eggs, lovely smoked bacon, gorgeous toasted bread with butter. This was accompanied by steaming... 更多
Popped in just after 3pm in the hope of a late lunch or savoury bite after walking the lovely Diamond Jubilee way and working up an appetite. As we sat down a server came over - there was no greeting or friendly "hello", she merely barked at us "you don't want lunch do you?" "We stop serving lunch at 3".... 更多
We are breakfast at Saveurs twice during our visit to Dartmouth. Saveurs is also a wonderful French bakery. After breakfast, we bought cheese and fresh bread for our afternoon picnic.
Went in at 4.30 on a Saturday afternoon for coffee and cake. Only available as a take away as they close at 5.00. I can understand this approach a few minutes before doors close, but not 30 minutes early. In the last two years this establishment has moved opening time from 8.00 am to 9.00 am, thus losing trade from... 更多
I love all their pastry , very well made ! The Eclairs are heaven! This is a must try place if you have a sweet tooth, friendly and very accommodating people x Highly recommended!
Love this place. The food and the service is always spot on. The specials are always amazing, but then again the croque madame is the best you can enjoy outside of France. A great choice of bread and pastries to take away.
This is a gem of a patisserie/coffee shop, serving amazing cakes, french pastries and perfect for a lazy start to the day or a small oasis during a busy day. The coffee and hot chocolate were consistently delicious and the staff friendly and welcoming. It's also possible to take out. The menu is varied including soups, baguettes, and all things... 更多
Savers retains top of the bill for everything they do in this small cafe/bistro style bakery. Bread is authentic French bakery specialities in every variation, all delicious, freshly baked right there, every day. Cakes, chocolates, patisserie are the best you will find this side of the channel. It's our first port of call whenever we visit Dartmouth (& we load... 更多
Smooth smooth coffee. The cakes were amazing, so delicate and pretty. We ordered a croque Madame to share and without asking they divided it for us and presented on separate plates giving us both a generous side salad. Nice touch.
It's a treat to find a first class French patisserie in the Uk, and adds to the general treat or being in Dartmouth. The cakes we have tried on several visits have all been delicious, and at least as good as those we've eaten in France. I would give it 5 stars but for the fact that the tea would... 更多
The pattissiere who runs this place was John Burton Race's pastry chef at the, now defunct, New Angel, and his skill, artistry and pedigree show in this marvellous little place. Everything we have eaten here has been of the highest quality, including a proper fish soup with rouille, Gruyere and croutons that I enjoyed for lunch today. I nearly licked... 更多
Sunday breakfast. Amazing scrambled egg with salmon and exquisite granary toast. Great coffee too. Friendly waiting staff. Fabulous start to the day. Sat there drooling over the cakes on display and will be back for some of those.
