This place should be shut down, but it keeps going and going with the only place in Iqaluit to eat Chinese food. The place is falling apart and dirty (chairs duct-taped seats!) so you take your chances but the food is good!
This is also very good restaurant which serves a large number of Chinese cuisine and other southern delicacies. It provides many quiet gatherings and bring along guess and friends, and families alike. Very good restaurants to eat. There are buffets available which is very good.
The War Wonton is usually pretty good. Indeed it does need a total renovation. It's a staple in the community. Not clear how sanitary it is but we still eat there.
ALthough the hotel is closed for a couple of years the restaurant is still open to the public. There are a couple of house specials - for q uick bite try a Taxi Driver with french fries - for something more subtantial try Wonton soup with barbqued pork! Delicious
The Navigator in should be torn down. The floors are dangerous. The tables are on slants and even the chairs. It is an awful place to go. If you want the Chinese food... take out.
What can you say? It is a restaurant if you want average food at an above average place keeping in mind that your in Iqaluit. The look inside is one of desperation. It does not look like it's been cleaned or renovated from day one. It's just ok...
