great little outdoor lunch spot while touring St. Andrews. The fish and chips are very good, and so fresh tasting!
This is a small, take-out restaurant off of the main highway outside of Saint Andrews. Sadly they were out of shrimp so I had the fried fish and swapped out the fries for onion rings. I don’t normally like fish, but thought I'd try it here. I’m glad I did. It had a very mild flavor and was very nice.... 更多
Ok as a Mortimer I have to say the best feed of clams I have ever eaten. Their burgers awesome, love their chocolate shakes. Service is awesome and friendly. As my grandson says..."their food is even better than the last time we ate here.." he is a lover of their fish platter, and chicken strips. Oh!,and bring your appetite the... 更多
During an extended stay at the Algonquin, we went to the Clam Digger twice for lobster rolls and fried clams. Good food in generous portions at an atmospheric roadside spot. When you're in St. Andrews, avoid the tourist traps on the main street and head out Route 127 for the Clam Digger, easily the best mid-range restaurant in town.
Some of the best seafood we had while we were out east. Just a little place off the side of the road but service was quick, food was excellent and plentiful and prices were very reasonable. Seemed very popular but the lines moved quickly and food didn't take long before it was ready.
We recently spent a couple of weeks travelling through parts of New Brunswick, PEI, and Nova Scotia, eating a diet of local seafood every day. This was our first stop, after crossing into NB from Maine. It was a great start! I had scallops and my husband had a lobster roll. Both were fabulous. For a drive-in, they do a... 更多

On the way out of Saint Andrews we just had time for lunch. Having passed this place a couple of times and seen the lines, we gave it a try. Seafood platter was well princes and enough for two. Great fried clams, fish and chips.
Stopped bu for a seafood platter after a fantastic day of whale watching. The clams (whole) the haddock flavourful, the scallops lightly breaded and the fries homemade....the best I ve had since we came to NB
