A fine eat in middle of Magog. No fancy look but very good food. Portions are generous, good report quality/ price.
We were in Magog on the warmer day on Father's Day so there was lots of people in town. We decided we were going to eat Moules for dinner so we walked in the make reservation. The place was full and it seemed very loud with the brunch crowd. We went back for at 6:00 and I don't know if... 更多
Very nice atmosphere, service was not rushed like in certain American restaurant. We even insist we wanted to make this lunch a relaxing event. But if you insist on a quick meal, ask them ahead of time if there is a wait that you could deal with and if not, go across to a fast food restaurant.
Partner and I own a business that puts us out when most others are closed. After our first-time visit to a spa in Magog, we set our sites on a restaurant that ended up being closed, as most in the town were. Came across La Table Alain Roger, one of the few with lights on, and we're certainly not disappointed.... 更多
We arrived at 6:25, and were seated after a 5 to 7 minute wait. There were 5 party's dining (all twos, one table of four). There were no napkins at our table. After 25 minutes the waiter brought us water and walked away. After 25 minutes with no service we decided to leave. The waiter came to us but did not... 更多
At the top of the lake in Magog, La Table Alain Roger is a real treat! The food is fresh with a wonderful presentation. The service is delightful, even for those who do not speak French. We've been for lunch and for dinner and have never been disappointed.
The La Table Alain Roger is a nice relatively small restaurant (about 15 tables). Alain served food by himself and it was a lot of fun and jokes. La Table Alain Roger is a very pretty restaurant set in the prettily-lit town of Magog which is right on a lake. We were warmly welcomed in spite of my rapidly diminishing French language capability. Their English more than made up for that. Between the hours of 17h and 1830h, there is a "Souper tot" menu offered. For under $20,... 更多
Part of our wine/food tasting discovery booklet purchased earlier(coupons).Need to book ahead, very busy on weekends.Owned by a French Chef (M.Alain Roger) who luckily was serving us 'WOW',he suggested a local red wine to go with my braised beef and my wife's salmond ....explosion of savors! A great place to eat and please listen to the Chef you will not regret.
Best mussels we've had in a while. Service was a bit chaotic (our reservation was not recorded in the evening roster, but we got a good table anyway). The fries were tasty but a little soggy. Our biggest disappointment was with the wine list. First of all, the list is very short. My wife and I try to get a... 更多
