This lovely little cafe set in a beautiful old building in the middle of Axbridge is quickly becoming one of our new favourites! Staff are friendly, dogs are welcome, menu is varied - and the Belgian hot chocolate is amazing! Definitely worth a visit.
My wife and I were exploring Axbridge on a cold, wet winter's day and, come lunchtime, the Almshouse Tea Shop was a very welcome sight. As soon as we got through the door, we were greeted by smiling, friendly members of staff who directed us to a, blessedly, warm and dry table. The menu was wide ranging and varied, offering... 更多
We just went for tea and scone on a dull November afternoon. Our visit to the almshouse lifted our spirits ! It's and incredible place surprising and unusual. A must visit when in the area. The staff is charming, coffee, tea and scones were excellent and for once the jam was "home made" and absolutely delicious! Kudos to the guys... 更多
Whether it breakfast, lunch or just a coffee this place is great. Quaint, clean, up-market tea shop at reasonable prices. Nothing nicer than walking the Strawberry Line and stopping off here for refreshments. Also a good place to meet up with friends.
Thank you very much for your review, and we look forward to seeing you again! 更多

This charming tea room in a 1450 building is a pure delight. Friendly staff and really great food. We both had a panini for lunch. Grilled ham and cheddar cheese, small salad, crisps and cole slaw for less than 6 pounds was excellent. Large pot of tea for two only 3 pounds. Do not miss this excellent place right on... 更多

We came across this place by chance, we had stayed overnight in Cheddar and someone at the Motor Home site mentioned what a lovely historical place Axbridge was.As we headed for the M5 we saw Axbridge signposted and pulled in for a walk round. This Tearoom was open so we went in for coffee's and bacon sandwiches, fantastic. The building... 更多
