Excellent food quality, quantity and service. Very reasonable prices. Pancakes were fluffy and cooked to perfection we were hash browns and eggs.
Don't confuse the Original Red Hut with their newer restaurants. You'll want to enjoy the food and the ambiance at the Original Red Hut. With 3 orders, we had enough left over for almost another meal (which we ate at the trailhead). Don't miss this oldie but goodie!
We loved breakfast so much, we came back the next day for lunch! Breakfast was fantastic. We each ordered something different: blueberry French toast was simply the best!!! The rosti was delicious and a country breakfast was yummy. For lunch we had chicken fried steak, Thai chicken and rice soup and honey chicken. All were great as well.
We walked to Red Hut Cafe from our timeshare & it's about the fifth time we've visited. I enjoy the daily specials "the usual" is my favorite & my brother-in-law cracked up thinking I ate here regularly; I would if I lived in the area. Service is prompt & friendly & they can all describe the menu items very well.... 更多
Wife and i stopped in for breakfast after looking on TA for a top spot. It fit the bill well. Small inside but we came on a friday a.m. and sat right down. Good service, better food. My french toast was probably the best I've ever had. The wife got a nice looking waffle with strawberries and whip. No complaints,... 更多
Red Hut is a family owned restaurant that is casual, but good food. We had breakfast there this time and sat looking out over Lake Tahoe. We have eaten there many times for Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as treats in the Soda Fountain.
Although there was a crowd waiting for tables, it was worth the wait for a delicious and well-prepared breakfast at the Red Hut in So. Lake Tahoe. Cute, cozy, comfortable and yummy are the word to describe this breakfast spot. Although I believe they are open for lunch and dinner as well, I can only recommend the breakfast, and I... 更多
Been coming back for breakfast for over 25 years. There are 4 or 5 locations now but this one has always been my favorite. Get here before 8am to avoid the lines. After that, the wait can be up to an hour, done prepared.
My husband, two boys, and I stopped here on our way to a ropes course. It was busy and we didn't have time to wait, but we could sit at the counter immediately. My husband got "The Usual" (biscuits and gravy, eggs, and home fries), I got a cheese omelet with tons of mushrooms, onions, and avocado with home fries... 更多
Stopped here for breakfast, mid-morning, was a slight wait although it went fast, we actually missed them calling us when they told us a much longer time than it actually took. Our breakfasts were very good with decent portion sizes.
