I love to dine at The Chou de Bruxelles either with friends or just with my boyfriend. My usual is the delicious "velouté de poisson" followed by mussels accompanied with fantastic home made french fries and if I can, end it all with a "crème brulée" ! I have been eating yere since my early 20s, when Sherbrooke was a gastro wasteland until now, where it has become the hub of Townships Gastronomy. They have kept the classics, great service and updated the menu, the decor and added great new bathrooms, a bar and 50 more seats in the basement. Bring your own wine- always a plus.... 更多
Make sure you reserve because this place is popular! We prefer eating upstairs, it is a bit cold downstairs in the winter season and it seems to be noisier when there are a lot of people. The "Chou" is one of the best restaurants in town for great food and reasonnable prices. It's sometimes booked - especially Saturday night - so it may be best to make reservations. Everything's perfect except it can get a bit noisy sometimes, simply because it's so popular, there's a lot of people!
