Delicious food. We only had the breakfast but it hit the spot. Great decor, very cozy and classic at the same time
Spent the morning at the museum and then walked across to Cartier Street and down to Krieghoff. Not fancy. I had a smoked meat sandwich. Others has bagel and lox, onion pie, and quiche. It was all good. Nothing earth shaking but we were looking for something simple. I would go back.
The place to be in Canada for breakfast in the summer. Beautiful interior, excellent terasse. Their bol de café au lait is delicious. Eggs benedict with lox is amazing. One of my favourite places for breakfast and people watching.
Avenue Cartier is a cool street just outside of Quebec City, and has a lot of interesting restaurants. Le Cafe Krieghoff is one of them. The service was excellent, and the food very good. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the sausage and sauerkraut, both very good. The waitstaff was courteous and professional.
We wanted to have a breakfast like they use to have in Canada or more generally i North America. With the sunny side up eggs, the pancakes, the maple syrup and everything. And that restaurant is perfect for that ! The breakfast was very good, well served, big portions. We had few minutds to eat because we had to be... 更多
Thank goodness we found this place, it was all locals, and the most authentic food we had in QC. The quiche Lorraine was pitch perfect, the oignon pie really interesting-sweet and savory. The salad was great! Generous servings of everything.
The food here was wonderful and the service was great. We eat Low Carb and the restaurant was quite willing to substitute extra salad or vegetables for potatoes at no extra charge.
This is really a sit-down restaurant vs. a bakery/coffee shop (what I was actually searching for), however the service was friendly and I was able to order a quick breakfast to go from the bar. The coffee was very good, especially the mocha. And the choclatines were fresh made and were of "melt in your mouth" quality. Would return!
