This place is always busy because they have good thali's for a low price. I don't go for anything a la carte but it's great for a cheap and filling thali

Excellent take out deal with 2 meats, a vegetable choice, rice, Naan and Poppadum for $10. The butter chicken was outstanding. Prefer take out as the interior is a bit drab. But the service was very friendly.
Walked for an hour to find Thali, after reading good reviews prior to my trip to Montreal. Got there and found it was not a great experience, and not worth my time and effort to get there. The fact that it is a cafe in appearance was surprising, but not too significant as I still wanted to try the food.... 更多
This little hole in the wall restaurant is a favorites not only among students but also among locals living in the downtown core. They have a $10, (tax incl) dish that gives you 2 meat selections, one vegetarian dish, rice, a full nan and papadam. Where else can you get that much food for 10 bucks. It was so much... 更多
You can expect Good Quality of Indian food over here within a reasonable price. The place is usually packed and full.Their vegetarian and non vegetarian combination plates are good for those who are on budget. Otherwise you can order the dishes separately. I would suggest Palak paneer and Chana masala for vegetarians and Butter Chicken and lamb curry for non... 更多
Went for lunch buffet. Ordered the veg and the meat combo plates. On the large section a huge mound of white rice was placed, topped with a huge piece of naan, and that topped with papadum (no chutneys). In the 3 small plate sections we had choices of veg and meat dishes. The butter chicken (orange sauce) was average. The... 更多
If you are looking for basic North Indian food at a low price, this is the place to go in Montreal. It is not far from Centreville. They had a sign announcing that they serve South Indian masala dosa but they don't -- it is an old sign. The food is filling.
Hi we do have Dosa, but just not on Monday afternoon. This is not an old sign. Vick 更多
The veggie/meat thali buffets are a great option, especially if you're on a budget. You get a huge portion. Raitia yogurt, rice, and naan were great. Mango lassi is more on the sweet end - I prefer more spice and less sugar, but that is hard to find since the general public prefers more of a milkshake type of lassi.... 更多
I've been eating at Thali's about once a week for four years now. Their food is exceptional, and their prices are more than reasonable. Samosas (vegetarian) are $1. Try their combination dishes - one for meat eaters and one for vegetarians. Their eating area is small and usually packed. Ask for it to go if you're not up to the... 更多
