Food was average. Pork schnitzel special was good but overcooked and mushroom sauce was salty. Mediterranean pasta dish had too much oil and service overall was a bit slow.
Our meal was very good the waitress was nice. We would recommend at this restaurant to ask questions so that your are not disappointed. We ordered their baked brie for a shared appetiser. It was packaged - very bland - thank goodness for the marmalade that came with it. It seemed deep fried in a packaged batter - we should... 更多
My wife and I had dinner here on Sunday nite. I was skeptical because I was expecting one of those stuffy wine bars with nouveau cuisine. This is not one of those places. Its a more casual place with reasonably priced dinners that are very good. The house wine is also good and they server it with a nice pour.
The service is great, however, their house specialty (fish and chips) was not great. They offer good variety of beers at good prices. Overall a good place to go for a snack and a couple beers.
We tried Corks because we had a gift certificate--glad we didn't pay full price. We were there early on a Friday evening. The service was adequate but unremarkable. The crab cake appetizer was excellent but the "wild cod" disappointing. The batter nice & light but the fish quite flavourless. Frozen fries don't cut it at these prices--ramp up to fresh... 更多
We got into town late on a Sunday evening and almost everything was closed. We found that Corks was the only thing open on the main drag so we decided to try it. Their special of the day was Pork Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and veggies. We both had it and it was delicious. Dessert was Apple Crumbles with fresh... 更多
Came here to get stuck into some day drinking after arriving in NOTL Saturday afternoon. Couldn't have made a better choice. Got a couple of litres of sangria, a mezze platter to snack on, and the servers were very informative as to what to do in the area for fun. We liked it so much, we went back the next... 更多
Lovely place to enjoy a semi alfresco lunch on a spring day. Friendly casual atmosphere. Good menu selection. Excellent crab cakes and wraps. Healthy eaters beware of the up charge $$ for salad instead of fries.
This is a nice little casual stop if you want to sit out on the patio and watch the tourists stroll by if you are in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It can get extremely crowded but if you go off season or during the week, you may find a seat. The fish and chips are very good. Good place to stop for a... 更多
Waiter was excellent, definitely the best we had in a vacation filled with great service. Entertainment was brutal-please feel free to let the old fella retire. Beer selection was very good. Food was average at best and a bit pricey at that. Atmosphere was very good.
The service was great here, very friendly and accommodating. Food was good. The place is very busy and you can see why. Would defiantly return.
We stopped in to Corks famished and tired from our drive. Although they have a quaint heated deck we decided to sit at the bar. My husband ordered a flight of beers and curry fries (poutine style fries with curry chicken) while I ordered a schnitzel special. Both meals were fantastic and I enjoyed his sample of Oast House grapefruit... 更多
Went for lunch, we both had the fish and chips...the fish was oily but not too bad. The place was packed for lunch and it was almost 2! Service was prompt and courteous.
We visited two other places before we selected this quaint restaurant with an outdoor type atmosphere. The front door remains open in the glass enclosed patio with heater on. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We loved the appetizer offerings so much that we ordered two. Then my wife tried the grapefruit beer and I waited to taste it... 更多
